The weather is so blustery today. the wind is blowing hard.Its raining and sleeting outside. I have been baking for Christmas all day. Freezing them for Christmas Eve. Such a wonderful time of the year. We have all our children and grandbabies that day. So much fun to see there eyes when they open their presents. Merry Christmas to everyone!!

After Thanksgiving Day

Oh did we get stuffed yesterday, Turkey and Dressing,Giblet Gravy,Mac.and Cheese,Cream Corn, Green Beans,Deviled Eggs,Yams and Rolls. Coconut Cake and Banana Puddin. Yes a 5000 calorie meal.. And today still on left overs.
So thankful for all God has blessed us with. Praying for more peace in the world and a safer tomorrow for our children. Hope everyone had a blessed day. Hugs,Justa

Back Home

I am back home,I sure love vacations. We do not go but once a year. I went Christmas shopping. I am ready for it. Love Christmas!!

We had 4 good days at OBX but we were run off the island by a Nor-Easter. We got out while we could. Scary!!!We got home late last nite. So glad to be safe at home.
But we are leaving tomorrow for Tenn for a short weekend trip.Be Safe,Hugs!!!

Outer Banks NC

We are headed to the Outer Banks of NC today. Its a long 10 hours. This is our 8th time going. I am on a hunt for sea glass. We do surf fishing,sometimes catch flownder.It is so peaceful there. I will take pictures and post soon.

The Lake with Family

We had a awsome day on Saturday. Went on our pontoon and had a cookout with our families. We don't get to do this very much. Had fun. We are off to camping next week for a couple of weeks. Love the fall. Have a blessed day my friends! Hugs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fall Is In The Air

Love Fall. We have alot of festivals around this time of year. Farm Days with tractor pulls and animals for the children to pet. Apple and Peach festivals. My favorite is Pumpkintown Festival. Crafts Galore. Then Halloween around the corner. Not to mention Christmas.I am just waking up and decided to post. My 2 yorkies are in my lap asleep or partly asleep. My Dear Husband

I went to Charleston, SC on Monday to visit my daughter. We had a very good time in downtown Charleston. We eat at a local fish house. Well on Tuesday evening I got a
call from my sisterinlaw. She says,we have Ralph (my husband ) in the ER,he was brought in by ambulance. He was bee stung and had a allergic reaction.He tryed to drive to the ER but his throat closed up and eyes swelled together. So he called 911 from his truck. They came and tryed to walk him to the ambulance. He passed out in the door of the ambulance. So I drove back home. He was home when I got back. Must take a epi pen at all times. So scary!!! Thank the good lord he is still with me. Pray for him my friends!!!

Well I am gettin back going,it sure has taken me awhile. Part sick ( mostly lazy).
My 2 little yorkies are growing up. They get in there pool every day. Love it. I have work tomorrow , off Friday work Sat,Sun., and Monday . Then off to the beach a couple of days. Hugs,Hugs. Justa

Bad Day

My sisterinlaw passed away yesterday. Wow are we ever going to miss her. But she has been so sick. At least I talked with her before. She's in heaven now and so healthy no pain anymore!!!!

This is a very old picture. This is my husbands parents in 1941. Mr Nabors was killed in 1971, I only knew him a little while. Mrs Nabors is still with us,she has just turned 88.Such a sweet person.

I tryed quilling yesterday and really like it. You really have to have patience. This card was just out of the blue. I really like the butterfly,background paper. I tryed to put a little vintage into it with old pearls and a bow to match the colors. I also used stickles . Thanks!

Well today was not that bad. I still have a bone in the top of my foot that has not healed. No surgery yet, but a stimulator for it to make it heal. Hope this works. I do have a great doctor.
I have alot of trust in him. Although I see him at work alot.

Newest Addition

We have a new addition to our family. Her name is Layla. She is 6 weeks old. She will be a playmate to my Little Lacey. Now I have 2 little girls.

This is a Happy Birthday card I made today. The stamp is from stamping bella. Lottie and Gussie Gabalot. Good for a real friend. I colored it with copics and added sticklers. I had a backgound stamp with added flowers. I used P inc. paper. and made the flower out of cardstock.

Love Card

I got this stamp from (Rachelle Anne Miller). I used copic markers to color her,sticklers for shine,2 old yellow buttons and blue and yellow flower with clear glass button in center. Added love stickers and painted stitch around card. I used SU cardstock.

This is a new stamp from Magnolia Rubberstamps. I used 2 old large tangerine buttons,green and tangerine paper with mustard color cardstock.Copic markers and sticklers for shine and pearl adhesives. Added the title April.

Back To Work

Okay, I want be posting anything new until next week. I am going to work again for the next 3 days.This is my weekend to work. I don't want to go back but,I have to. I do have a stressful job
but I love my friends. I work at a local hospital.The nurses and most doctors are good to work with. I transcribe the doctors orders.It does get really busy in the medical/surgical dept.
that I work in. Sometimes when patients gets bad news,then its hard. Most part when they get
